Reviewing GoToMeeting

Probably on one of the most popular conferencing platforms on the Market is GoToMeeting by Citrix. It’s been around for years and if your in business today you’ve probably participated in a GoToMeeting session at one time or another. At the least, I am sure you’ve heard of it before.

I actually had another meeting today, which prompted me to write a review on the product.

This is the first meeting I have done with GoToMeeting in probably Four Years – and I can honestly say – I don’t think I’ve been missing much by staying away so long.

Don’t get me wrong, the interface is semi-easy to use, but it doesn’t look like it’s changed much in the past four years.

Which leads me to my BIGGEST PROBLEM with GoToMeeting – the price.

For $49.99, I would rather go to WebEx or some other cheaper platform.

Final Verdict – GoToMeeting is OK. That is about the best thing I can say about it. It’s OK. Personally I think it’s overpriced and using the same basic technology it has for years. Many other better options on the market.
